About us
Buckden Village Hall is a multi-functional facility located in the heart of Buckden village for the use of residents and those from outside the village. We have a range of clubs and societies using our function rooms, which offer regular activities including various exercise and dance classes, St Neots Model Railway Club, Buckden Local History Society, Buckden WI, Monday Club, Huntingdonshire Amateur Radio Society, Rugcutters, Jivenites and two Life Drawing Art Classes and many more.
We are also used by those providing professional courses such as Cats Protection, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Cambridgeshire County Council. Also located on the complex is Buckden Pre-school, Buckden Library and Buckden Village Club.
As we offer a Main Hall and three additional function rooms, we are able to cater for all types of events, including weddings, parties, conferences. Our Main Hall has a licensed bar facility (via Buckden Village Club) and fully equipped kitchen. For further information on the Hall and other function rooms, please click here.
As a self-funded charity, independent from both the Parish Council and the Buckden Village Club, we employ three part-time staff who manage administration and day-to-day maintenance. We also rely on the support of volunteers, and always welcome additional help from the community.
